والفكرة مسيطرة عليا جدا , وفعلا رحت مكتبة القصر العيني واشتريت كتب ال AMC MCQs test.

واحب نتشارك مع بعض المعلومات ونشجع بعض

واول شئ احب اقولهولكم ان الطريق صعب جدا جدا وعايز نفس طويل

وانا اتمني اني اقدر ابدأه واكمله وميبقاش الموضوع حلم وخلاص

انا بدأت اول الخطوات وهي تجميع المعلومات واللي هشارككم بيها دلوقتي

الخطوة التانية هي بدأ المزاكرة والتحضير للامتحان

اولا معلومات عامة هامة جدا

The information that follows is taken from the AMC publication, Examination Specifications Booklet. Candidates should consult the Examination Specifications and Sample Questions for more detailed information on strategies for preparing for the AMC Multiple Choice Question and Clinical Examinations

The Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination is a comprehensive examination of medical knowledge and practice. The AMC recommends that candidates undertake a thorough review of the major topics covered in the examination.

Candidates should familiarise themselves with the MCQ format. A wide range of general texts is readily available on this form of examination and its associated techniques. The AMC publication Annotated Multiple Choice Questions also covers these aspects.

The AMC publication Annotated Multiple Choice Questions is a selection of 600 MCQ Questions from the AMC MCQ Question Bank with commentaries and explanations on each question. The AMC has used these questions in previous MCQ examinations. The questions provide a comprehensive guide to the format, scope and standard of the AMC MCQ examination. The book is distributed by Blackwell Publishing Asia.

The AMC publication Anthology of Medical Conditions has been produced not only to assist overseas trained doctors to prepare for the AMC examinations but also as an essential tool for clinical practice. The publication lists over 130 Clinical Presentations of clinical conditions and classifies them to assist in a problem-solving approach to diagnosis and management. It is essential for all doctors to be familiar with the laws of the society in which they practise medicine and the ethics that underpin medical practice. It is also important to understand the organisational aspects of medicine in the Australian context. The Anthology of Medical Conditions contains a separate section dealing with these important issues, entitled Legal, Ethical and Organisational Aspects of the Practice of Medicine (LEO). The publication is enhanced throughout with medical illustrations. The publication is recommended for use in preparing for the AMC multiple choice question (MCQ) and clinical examinations. While candidates may find it useful to review the major textbooks in the key clinical disciplines, the questions in the MCQ examination are oriented towards the more common clinical applications, differential diagnosis and therapeutics, and candidates should take care when using major reference type textbooks. The AMC has drawn up a guide to some useful texts. These textbooks, listed below, will provide background reading on key topics and contain a great deal of reference material. They are not intended as prescribed reading.

Candidates may find it more useful to review medical journals that contain useful review articles and summaries of the identification, treatment and management of the more common clinical conditions in the Australian community.

For the AMC clinical examination, the AMC recommends that candidates undertake a comprehensive review of clinical skills and differential diagnosis. Experience suggests that a review of journals that contain articles dealing with common clinical conditions in the Australian community will be more effective in preparing for the clinical examinations than spending too much time with reference books. A list of useful journals is provided below.

The AMC in association with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners has produced a videotape of the Medical and Surgical Consulting Skills components and the assessment of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Paediatrics in the clinical examination (publications). The videotape takes the candidate through each step of the clinical examination. It also provides a good introduction to the general format of the AMC clinical examination.

Eligibility to sit the AMC examinations

To be eligible to sit the Australian Medical Council (AMC) examinations, you must:

have been awarded a primary degree in medicine and surgery

after an approved course of study

by a medical school listed in the World Health Organization (WHO) publication World Directory of Medical Schools, the International Medical Education Directory (IMED) of the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, or other publications approved by the AMC.

Degrees in traditional Chinese medicine and the degree of Doctor of Osteopathy (awarded in the United States ) are not recognised in Australia .

You do not have to hold permanent resident status or be an Australian or New Zealand citizen to complete the AMC examinations.

Components of the AMC examinations

The AMC examinations consist of:

a multiple choice question (MCQ) examination

a clinical examination.

You must pass the MCQ examination before attempting the clinical examination.

There are no limits on the time taken or number of attempts. However, we may review the performance of any candidate who has not passed the examinations after five years and repeated attempts, and provide feedback on their performance and their probability of passing.

Detailed information on the format of the MCQ and clinical examinations is provided in the AMC Examination Specifications Booklet. We send a copy of the booklet to each candidate after we process their online application and fee. You can also obtain a copy from the AMC Secretariat. There is also a summary of the structure of the MCQ examination on this website.

The AMC publication Annotated Multiple Choice Questions , distributed by Blackwell Publishing Asia, is a selection of 600 questions from the our bank of MCQ questions, with commentaries and explanations for each question. Application procedures

Complete the online application and eligibility assessment fee.

We will send you a copy of the Information Booklet for Candidates and further application forms.

Complete the forms and return them with the examination fee.

If you want to sit for the MCQ examination and have not yet been assessed as eligible, the AMC office must receive your documentation (Form A and supporting documents) by the specified credentialing closing date for the examination series.

We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of formal qualifications directly with the awarding institution or through recognised international agencies, such as the International Credentials Services of the United States Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (EICS).

Points to note when lodging your application

AMC examination fees are GST free.

Include the assessment fee when returning the preliminary application form.

You do not need to document your qualifications with the preliminary application form. We will tell you when to send the documentation.

The preliminary application fee is non-refundable and its payment is not an application to sit the MCQ examination.

If your medical qualifications are not currently recognised in Australia, it is in your own interests not to leave your country of origin before we have confirmed your eligibility to sit the AMC examinations or assessed your specialist qualifications.

Salaries in Australia vary slightly from state to state but each state's Government fixes all doctors' salaries. Here are approximate figures for basic salaries in Australia. After overtime and on-call work these salaries will be approximately 15-25% higher.

These are all approximate figures and in actual fact, the more hours you choose to work, the more you will earn. Basic salary assumes a working week of 38 hours - anything after this will be paid at penalty rates (usually double-pay), so for those looking to increase their salary the option of working extra hours (which is commonly available at many hospitals) can substantially increase your income.

Salary Packaging is a tax minimisation strategy available to all public hospital employees in Australia. It allows you to access up to 30% of your income as tax-free depending on the hospital you work in. This is a system used by almost all hospital employees to substantially increase your take home salary and further information will be available at your hospital finance department.

Tax Rates in Australia

All public hospital employees can access up to the first 30% of their income as tax-free through salary packaging, the remaining 70% will be taxable. Here are the rates of tax for residents in Australia for the remaining salary after salary packaging:

Salary Packaging

Salary packaging is a tax-minimisation system allowing all hospital employees in Australia to receive up to 30% of their salary tax-free. The basis of this is that hospital employees are exempt form 'Fringe Benefits Tax'. This is normally a tax on all rewards given to employees which do not form the cash component of their salary e.g. company car etc. Due to this special exemption for public hospital employees, there is the opportunity to 'sacrifice' some of your salary and receive it as fringe benefits, which is free from all forms of tax (including income tax).

The way this works in practice is that you designate a proportion of your income (up to a maximum of 30% of total salary in many hospitals) that is to be set aside for expenses including your household mortgage or rent, petrol expenses, household utility bills, computers, holiday travel, eating out at restaurants. On showing the receipts for these items, you can receive your income to the value of these receipts free of tax.

Most doctors try to package the maximum amount and so receive a significant proportion of their income tax-free resulting in reducing their taxable income substantially. On arrival in hospital, you should contact your hospital immediately and ask for further details about salary packaging as it can save you a lot of money.

Other Benefits

In addition to salary packaging, most hospitals will give all doctors working in Australia the following benefits:

1. Sick Leave - up to 10 paid days per year

2. Annual Leave - 5 weeks paid leave per year

3. Superannuation (pension) - all doctors working in Australia receive superannuation payments to the value of 9% of their salary (This is paid in addition to your salary and is not deducted from it.) All doctors who work temporarily in Australia may cash their superannuation earned when they leave to return to their home country.

4. Many hospitals will also provide subsidised meals, free or cheap accommodation and other perks.

NOTE: These salary scales are for 2004. For 2005, add 6% to the final figure. For 2006, add 6% for the 2005 figures. Please watch out for taxes also.

The preliminary application form is the first form required to be lodged with the AMC in paper format.

Online Application Process at a glance:

1. Applicant register online to have an AMC account (https://portal.amc.org.au/signup);

2. Applicant receives email from the AMC to Activate account;

3. Applicant Login to AMC online account (https://portal.amc.org.au/login);

4. Applicant lodges/completes his/her application online;

5. Applicant receives email from AMC with P1 form and receipt of payment (Applicant is now known as a Candidate to AMC Certificate);

6. Candidate prints P1 Form and post it to AMC together with all required documents;

7. AMC receives P1 Form and documents from Candidate - Credentialing process starts;

8. Credentialing process completed (in approximately 4 to 8 weeks depending on pathway);

NOTE: All above steps must be completed prior to Application progressing to next phase (ie.: Part 1 examination),The Australian Medical Council (AMC) is not a medical registration authority, ,nor is it involved in processing applications for internships, medical training or matters relating to the employment of doctors in Australia. Matters relating to applications for temporary visas or for migration to Australia are the responsibility of the Department of Immigration. The AMC is not involved in those matters and is unable to provide further information regarding eligibility.

Postgraduate Medical Training

If it is your intention to undergo postgraduate training in Australia and then return to your own or another country following completion of that training, it is possible you would be regarded as an ‘Occupational Trainee’. If that is the case, for the reasons that have been mentioned above the AMC is unable to assist with your inquiry . Further Information

If it is your intention to remain in Australia permanently as a Medical Practitioner or for an extended period, you would need to successfully qualify for the AMC Certificate/Report. You would then need to apply to a State or Territory Medical Board for registration as a medical practitioner, subject to the registration requirements of the particular state or territory. This may include a period of supervised medical practice to be determined in each case by the relevant State or Territory Medical Board.

أنا عندي ليك اسئلة كتيرة جدا .. هكتبهالك هنا ولو حاسس انك مالكش مزاج تقرا وتكتب ودة حقك جدا بعد المجهود الجبار اللي انت عامله من اكتر من 5 شهور .. لو شايف كدة ارجوك اديني رقم تليفونك ف استراليا والمواعيد اللي ممكن اكلمك فيها وانا هتصل بيك فورا ..

أنا طبيب امتياز دفعة 2007 ..

قدمت على كل الأوراق اللازمة لدخول الامتحان النظري واول ما نويت اخش الامتحان فوجئت ان كل اماكن الامتحان في الشرق الأوسط اتقفلت واقرب مكان لينا ف مصر هو تركيا او اليونان يا اما السفر لمدينة اوروبية او استراليا ..

للأسف حتى الامتحان في تركيا هيكون في 27/3 ودة هيكون بعد ما اخلص امتيازي يعني هكون ممنوع من السفر لحد ما يتحدد موقفي من التجنيد ..

وبالتالي هيكون ادامي حل من اتنين .. يا اما السفر لاستراليا لأن الامتحان في 7 فبراير وهقدر اسافر .. يا إما أسافر تركيا ف شهر فبراير وافضل هناك لحد معاد الامتحان ودة هتكون فترة تقارب شهرين لاني مش هقدر اسافر قرب انتهاء سنة امتيازي لانهم مش هيدوني تصريح سفر من الجيش .. يعني لازم اسافر آواخر شهر يناير مثلا ..

ودة أول سؤال ليك .. تنصحني ب أنهي حل .. مع العلم بإن تكلفة تذكرة السفر لاستراليا 8000 جنيه + إقامة بسيطة ف حدود عشر ايام اسبوعين ولتركيا ف حدود 2000 جنيه + إقامة شهرين .. مع الاخذ بالعتبار ميزة السفر لاستراليا انها بتديني فرصة للاطلاع على احوال البلد من نواحي كتيرة ... (ملحوظة : اكيد طبعا العمل هناك في اي مجال زي كاشير ولا غسل صحون والحاجات زي كدة ممنوع قانونا لو معاك فيزا سياحية .. لكن اعرف ناس كتير بتعمل كدة والعملية بتعدي .. عشان تغطي تكاليف الإقامة هناك وممكن كمان تكاليف السفر الغالية ...ف ايه معلوماتك عن الموضوع ؟؟ وهل غير قانوني دي هترسى على تحذير فالقسم ولا حبس ولا ترحيل ولا بلاك ليست وماعتبش استراليا تاني ولا ايه ؟)

ودة سؤالي الثاني ليك ... أهم النواحي اللي عايز اطمن عليها قبل ما اسافر اشتغل هناك هي التالي .. العنصرية تجاه العرب والمسلمين خاصة لو مراتي محجبة .. امكانية تربية الأبناء وخاصة البنات تربية جيدة هناك ... ظروف المعيشة ماديا وهل المرتبات المذكورة اللي بتبدأ من 60 الف دولار سنويا قبل الضرائب تكفي لسد الاحتياجات من سكن واكل وخلافه .. واخيرا امكانية الحصول على الجنسية وايه اهم الشروط لكدة ..

اما سؤالي الثالث ... فانا فكرت بدل العمل غير القانوني والكلام دة اني اقدم فيزا عمل واشتغل هناك برضه في اي حاجة على ما ارجع مصر اهو الواحد يعوض شوية من تكاليف الامتحان والسفر والإقامة .. المهم ان فيه نظام النقط اللي انت ذكرته ف سياق كلامك للحصول على تأشيرة عمل .. ف نظام النقط دة هيكون عندي فرصة اني اجمع النقط المطلوبة لو جايلي عرض عمل من هناك .. فهل تقدر تساعدني بعرض عمل يسهل عليا فرصة الحصول على التاشيرة .. مع العلم انه اذا كان لازم يكون عرض العمل يخص مؤهلاتي وصعب تجيب عرض عمل كطبيب فأنا كمان بشتغل مترجم عربي - انجليزي وعندي شهادات خبرة بكدة ...

سؤالي الرابع .. لو خلاص هجيب تأشيرة سياحي أو Short Business بيقولوا في السفارة اني لازم يكون معايا رصيد فالبنك يغطي اقامتي ورفضوا تماما يدوني اي لمحة عن الرصيد دة لازم يكون كام .. هل تعرف ممكن يكون كام ..؟؟ وهل اقدر اقوللهم بعذ اذنك ان انا اعرفك شخصيا لان دة بيسهل الحصول على الفيزا بحكم ان في حد هناك ممكن يساعدك لو اتعرضت لاي ازمة مادية او غيره (طبعا انت هتبدأ تقلق من كلامي بس انا والله عايز امتحن وامشي وبس لكن خايف من ساعة ما مصر طلعت من الدول اللي فيها الامتحان خايف بعد ما ادفع مصاريف الامتحان اللي حوالي 9000 جنيه يرفضوا يدوني التأشيرة لأي سبب والبس انا بئة فعايز أأمن نفسي من كافة النواحي)

سؤالي الخامس .. تفتكر اقامتي هناك لمدة شهر ممكن تكلفني كام اكل وسكن وخلافه .. مع العلم اني احتمال اسافر أنا واتنين صحابي وبالتالي هيوفر علينا ف مصاريف السكن )

سؤالي السادس والأخير وأرجو اني اسمع ردودك قريبا واسمع صوتك في التليفون لاني اكيد هيخطر على بالي كلام كتير اقولهولك ف معرض حديثنا .. وأنا بتسحر ف رمضان على عربية فول مع واحد صاحبي كثير السفر نصحني اني اتكلم كتير مع واحد عاش هناك لانه هو الوحيد اللي ممكن يدلني على ارخص اكل وارخص مواصلات واامن سكن وانضف اماكن اسكن فيها واحسن ناس اتعامل معاهم .الخ ... لان محدش ممكن يعرف مكان عربية فول زي دي غير واحد من اهل البلد .. عشان كدة انا نفسي اتصل بيك واعرف عن الكلام دة كله ويا ريت اعرف انت ف انهي ولاية ومدينة ف استراليا ..

انا عارف ان كلامي كتير وفبه حاجات كتيرة ممكن تخليك تتجنب ترد عليا او تديني تليفونك وعنوانك .. بس انا متأكد انك مش هتعمل كدة لانك كنت البادئ بالخير أصلا .. وأنا مش زي الناس اللي سألت وعرفت وبعدين قعدت في بيوتها تاني .. انا فعلا مقدم عالامتحان ومستني بس احدد المدينة اللي همتحن فيها بس ومش محتاج منك اكتر من اللي طاقتك تسمح بيه في الرد ومد ايد المساعدة لأخوك الصغير ..

بيتعاملو ا الاستراليين ازاي مع المهاجرين وخصوصا المسلمين والعرب وليه كل الكلام ده عن عنصريتهم

العنصريه كلمه مطاطه ممكن إستخدامها بكذا شكل ,بالنسبه لأستراليا فالحكومه والأمور العامه مفيهاش أى نوع من العنصريه بالعكس البلد بلد هجره وخليط من مهاجريين كتير,لكن على المستوى الشخصى فا طبعا هتلاقى الكويس والوحش مفيش صنف واحد وطبعا ممكن تلاقى ناس عنصريين

التعامل مع العرب والمسلمين زى غيرهم فا متقلقش من الناحيه ديه

للأسف حتى الامتحان في تركيا هيكون في 27/3 ودة هيكون بعد ما اخلص امتيازي يعني هكون ممنوع من السفر لحد ما يتحدد موقفي من التجنيد ..

عايز أصححلك معلومه صغيره بس ويا ريت تتأكد منها,منع السفر بيبتدى قبل 6 شهور من زوال السبب ,يعنى لو إمتيازك ينتهى فى ديسمبر يبقى هتتمنع من السفر فى آخر مايو ,فى حالتك أنت أظن أن الجيش لن يسمحلك بالسفر حاليا ولا فى ميعاد إمتحان تركيا,أرجوك أتأكد من كلامى لأن ممكن تكون الأمور أتغيرت

وبالتالي هيكون ادامي حل من اتنين .. يا اما السفر لاستراليا لأن الامتحان في 7 فبراير وهقدر اسافر .. يا إما أسافر تركيا ف شهر فبراير وافضل هناك لحد معاد الامتحان ودة هتكون فترة تقارب شهرين لاني مش هقدر اسافر قرب انتهاء سنة امتيازي لانهم مش هيدوني تصريح سفر من الجيش .. يعني لازم اسافر آواخر شهر يناير مثلا ..

أولا أنصحك بالتأكد من موضوع الجيش ده قبل أى حاجه ,وأنا هرد على أسئلتك عشان لما تحل حوار الجيش ده تقدر تقرر و بردو عشان الناس تتعلم لو عندهم نفس الأسئله

الحل التالت هو الأفضل فى رأى,لأنك فى الحل الأول والتانى فى حالة عدم نجاحك هتضطر تستنى للحل التالت منتا هترجع مصر بعد إمتحانك أو حتى فى حالة نجاحك هتضطر تنزل مصر عشان تخلص إمتيازك وتكمل ورقك وتعمل إمتحان إنجليزى وكده

لكن لو قدرت تحل حوار الجيش وأنت واخد قرار إنك هتسافر ومش هتستنى وبتخيرنى هقولك الأتنين زى بعض وهوضحلك إزاى,لو سافت أسترالياو هتقعد أسبوعين فا من الصعب تلحق تحوش حاجه ده على إفتراض أن مشاكل السكن والشغل محلولين فى فتره أنت المفروض مركز فيها عشان تنجح من أول مره لأن الأمتحان تكلفته مش سهله خالص,بالنسبه للشغل فطبعا ممكن تلاقى شغل بس محتاج مجهود ومش هتلاقيه كده بسهوله لأن الأمور فى الواقع بتكون أصعب شويه من أى كلام هتسمعه منى أو من غيرى,لو أسبوعين يبقى أفضل تركيا لو شهرين أو تلاته يبقى أفضل أستراليا,بالنسبه لو حصل وأتمسكت وأنت شغال غير قانونى فصاحب الشغل بياخد غرامه محترمه تصل لى 10000 دولار وأنت هتلاقى صعوبه فى أى فيزا تانيه لأستراليا والدول الغربيه لأنك أخليت بشروط فيزتك وأتمسكت

لو حصل رفض للتأشيره أو مفيش مكان فى البلد الى أنت عايزها الAMC بيرودلك فلوسك كلها,وبالنسبه للضمان المالى فأنا معنديش خبره بصراحه وأظن أنه لازم يغطى تكاليفك فى فترة إقامتك

لو سكن متوفر بتكلفه 100 دولار للفرد أسبوغيا و مواصلات 50 وأكل وكده 50 وزود كمان 100 لزوم الأمور التى تجد زى كارت موبايل أتصالاتك الدوليه,أتأخرت فى مكان شغلك ومفيش مواصلات عامه هتركب تاكسى وكده يبقى من 300الى 350 دولار إسبوعيا

طيب يا د/ذياد لو الواحد قدر يعدي امتحان ال MCQs و عندو ال IELTS بالمعدل المطلوب.... ايه هي فرص العمل في استراليا لو حب الواحد يقدم من غير ما ياخد الclinical exam ... اللي هم بسموها one year under supervision ؟؟
