  2. Hello, In fact the accent won't make a big difference for a novice. Unless you're used to french "parisien" for long time, the transition to "accent québécois" won't be a big deal. They do in fact speak "french québécois"..the eastern dialect, but as I'm telling you, you won't get much trouble in understanding it. Go on with your preparations and don't worry, the dialect won't be a problem. Good luck.
  3. To all expecting their interviews soon, Please try to spend enough time listening to french speaking radios (many on the internet) or watching french speaking TVs. Even if you don't fully understand what's being said, that would help your ears to adapt the language & the pronunciation. Though the "quebecois" accent is different than the french one, but you'll eventually feel comfortable in dealing in french. Good luck
  4. Mohamed, The intake is based on file opening date. Cause this is the only date associated with your file, not the date of sending the application. To those who have their file opening date lies within July, August or September, to expect their interviews in the next mission (12 Sep - 21 Oct) Good luck.
  5. Mohamed Quebec, As Hani has mentioned, having a friend there won't help you at all. It is not worth even to mention. The counsellor won't even ask you whether you have "friends" there or not. However, other measures to your adaptability to Quebec community include: Family in Quebec (3 pts. max) Stay in Quebec (5 pts. max) As for points granted (3 pts. max) for having "family" member(s) there, you get'em if any of your "parents, grand-parents, spouse, siblings or children" are living there. Your stay in Quebec for studying/working will grant you 5 pts. (that's the max you can get for staying there) A stay for a duration exceeding 3 months will grant you only "2 pts." Less than 3 months will grant you only 1 pt (I wonder I got that or not!!! Anyways!) Good luck.
  6. Now officially.. Mission Accomplished! :)
  7. Hello Aghapy,

    How r u?!

    WHERE ARE YOU?!!!

    The forum really misses you.

Hope everything is going well with you.

  8. It depends on the date of opening the file. But, based on what do "they" tell you so?!!! Just get ready while waiting.
  9. Congratulations IbrahimSaidhomBolis.. Wish you the best of luck in the upcoming steps.
  10. Mr. Samuel & all in waiting, Be patient. I know how agonizing it is to wait so long for something you desperately want. But God's plans are timely accurate... So live your life normally & go on with your plans. At the time there's something new, it surely will be decently sorted out. :) "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
  11. Shady Elgendy, Welcome to the forum, and congratulations for your wedding. Yes, you should inform the BIQ of your new marital status & add your futur wife's documents to your file; as she will have to get her own CSQ as well & as the counting system and the threshold points/score will be altered accordingly. Good luck.
  12. Hey Guys, I really wonder of the tone of "preparing with someone"! It's your own project, no one knows it better than YOU. No one knows the inner details but YOU. No one would prepare your plans/documents better than YOU would do. As for the language, just keep in mind that it will be your "1st. language"! Walla el nas et3awedet 3ala el derous el khosouseya?!!!!! I wonder as well about those who have not even read the documents they have received along with the CSQ. (!!!) Anyways, best of luck for everybody. I just wanted to motivate you to stand up for yourself. Cheers.
  13. Congratulaaations Envoyeur.. Really glad you've made it.. :) Where have you been?! md2:
